Privacy Policy
Kognova ("we", "us") respects your privacy. Kick-it Line collects only the information needed to coordinate informal plans among enrolled participants and to deliver messages reliably.
Information we collect
- Contact details you provide, such as your mobile number and the name you choose to share.
- Message content related to coordination, including availability, preferences, and plan details.
- Availability windows you share when arranging a time.
- Venue or general location details you share when arranging a place.
- Technical details needed to deliver messages, such as timestamps and delivery status.
How we use information
- To coordinate plans and send relevant messages to enrolled participants.
- To propose and confirm meeting options, time windows, and public venues when participants request it.
- To maintain basic plan state and history for context between messages.
- To improve reliability, troubleshoot delivery issues, and address safety or abuse concerns.
Sharing between participants
To coordinate a shared plan, Kick-it Line may disclose the minimum useful summary to another enrolled participant — for example, "Maya may be free after 2 PM." It does not forward unrelated personal details or quote you verbatim without a clear coordination reason or your request. You may ask that a specific detail not be shared.
Please do not send secrets, financial information, health records, intimate information, authentication codes, or anything you would not want Kognova and the service providers below to process.
AI processing
Kick-it Line uses an AI language service to interpret messages and structure coordination notes. The AI component receives stable internal participant identifiers rather than raw mobile numbers, and it has no ability to send messages directly. Message delivery decisions are made by a separate deterministic system that enforces consent, rate limits, and quiet hours.
Service providers
We use trusted third-party providers to operate messaging and infrastructure: Telnyx carries SMS traffic, Cloudflare hosts the public endpoint and transport database, and Anthropic's Claude processes language. These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms and privacy policies.
Human access
Kognova personnel may inspect inbound and outbound messages, AI run records, delivery records, and coordination state in order to operate and debug the alpha, correct errors, address safety or privacy issues, and evaluate whether the service is useful.
Data retention
We retain coordination data only as long as reasonably necessary to operate the service. Some transport, security, backup, and audit records may need to be retained for a limited additional period.
Your choices
- Opt out of SMS at any time by texting
STOP. - Text
DELETE MY DATAto pause coordination and request deletion of your information. - Ask what the service currently records about you, or request correction, by contacting us.
Deletion is a supervised alpha workflow rather than an instantaneous guarantee across every provider.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Children
Kick-it Line is limited to adults aged 18 or older and is not intended for children.
Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be indicated by updating the effective date above.
